Basic Pricing for Rafting Trips

All prices include applicable taxes and use fees. There are no hidden river use or gear rental fees. Ever. However there is an online booking convenience fee, feel free to call the office to avoid any booking fees.

Half-Day Truckee River Trip

  • Adults: $100.00

  • Youth: $90.00 (14 and younger)

Full-Day Truckee River Trip

  • Adults: $160.00

  • Youth: $140.00 (14 and younger)

Full-Day Middle Fork  American River Trip

  • All participants: $200.00

Full-Day North Fork American River Trip

  • All participants: $160.00

Full Day Carson River Trip

  • Adults: $160.00

  • Youth : $140.00 (14 and younger)

2-Day Middle Fork American River Trip

  • All participants: $350.00

 2-Day Carson River Trip

  • Adults: $350.00

  • Youth: $300.00 (14 and younger)

 3-Day Middle Fork  American River

  • All participants: $450

 

Discounts for I.R.I.E. Rafting River Trips

Military:

10% discount if no other discounts already apply. 

Educational/Non-Profit:

15% off each person, minimum of 10 people

For youth groups, one adult/instructor is free of charge

Returning Guests:

We invite you to explore the many rivers we run. You will receive an additional 5% off for any return trip in the same season. You may combine this with other discounts.

Returning Group Leaders:

At IRIE, we know what it takes to organize a large group, and we'd like to thank and reward you for your hard work! A returning group leader is defined as a person who has previously organized an adult or mixed group (not education/non-profit groups which are already highly discounted) of 10 or more within the last 2 years. You will receive the same discounts as adult groups, plus 1 free adult.

Gratuities

In this industry, gratuities are a customary form of showing your appreciation for a job well done. Please thank your guide for their time.

For large groups or corporate events we do add gratuity to the overall cost. Generally 15-18% of the total cost.

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand there are many different and difficult circumstances that could require you to cancel your trip. We will try to work with you to ensure that there are limited or no penalties. However, our cancelation policy is as follows:

Truckee River

  • Cancel with more than 48 hours notice and receive a full refund. (we do not refund your taxes and fees which are approximately $4 per person)

  • If you must cancel with 48 hours or less of notice, we will work with you to reschedule your trip.

  • If you cannot reschedule, you will receive a refund less a 50% cancellation charge

  • No call, no shows will not receive a refund.

Carson, Middle and North Fork of the American Rivers

  • Cancel with more than 72 hours notice and receive a full refund. (we do not refund your taxes and fees which are approximately $4 per person)

  • If you must cancel with 72 hours or less of notice, we will work with you to reschedule your trip.

  • If you cannot reschedule, you will receive a refund less a 50% cancellation charge.

  • No call, no shows will not receive a refund.
