This is a two-day Class II whitewater rafting trip that is best April through June. Starting high in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, a constant gradient draws your boat through sweeping turns and rippling rapids for 21 miles of wilderness solitude. This is a perfect trip for families and groups. The largest rapid, Sidewinder, is a fun, yet straightforward rapid, exciting for first time boaters. The highlight of this run is a beautiful natural hot spring on the banks of the river about half way down the run. After relaxing in the hot springs, enjoy a catered dinner and sleep under the stars.
A true family adventure, the East Fork of the Carson River is nestled in high desert among Jeffrey Pines, and Sage brush. The river twists and turns and the gradient is constant. This section of river can be done in a full day, or you can break it up into 2 days.
